Upcycling Projects

While recycling is the process of breaking down waste materials into raw elements to create a new object, upcycling reuses waste materials’ existing condition to create a new product of higher value and quality.

With upcycling, nothing is lost, and less cost is incurred. It adds value and extends objects’ lives, just like the way our Space Optimation business works with buildings. Instead of demolishing old and underutilised properties, we transform them into new useful space concepts with value-added services.

In commemorating LHN Group’s 31st anniversary, we organised an upcycling workshop to educate our employees about this concept. Our employees applied what they had learnt to craft many creative eco-friendly presents for the Group from discarded materials in daily operation.
