Staff members of LHN and our subsidiaries joined hands to accompany the seniors of TOUCH Community Services for a walk in the festive streets of Chinatown. The initiative is a part of TOUCH's Active Ageing programme that aims to engage seniors in healthy activities benefitting their physical and mental wellbeing.

We participated in a heartwarming volunteering session at the Toy Buffet 2023 event hosted at Singapore Polytechnic. Organised by Food from the Heart (Singapore), the event is an exciting carnival bringing joy and fun to approximately 2,500 underprivileged children through toys, entertaining games, and delicious food. At the, LHN adopted a toy booth, distributing over 200 toys to the children attending. These toys were generously donated by our employees and tenants through our two-month toy donation drive.

Conducted by Terra.sg, the event commenced with an engaging play session featuring the "Think Global" board game, followed by an enriching upcycling workshop.

Employees of LHN Group and its subsidiaries joined forces to plant trees at Sin Ming Lane, in support of the nationwide OneMillionTrees Movement. Despite the heavy rain, our volunteers chose to stand alongside NPARKS and assist in planting 20 trees!

LHN Group's team of volunteers joined forces to prepare food packs for families in need at Food from the Heart (Singapore) (FFTH), a Singapore-based organisation dedicated to alleviating hunger through effective food distribution. Through their contribution, our volunteers hope to spread love and comfort to our beneficiaries.

Participating in NParks's Trees of the World 2022 campaign, LHN Group and subsidiaries bring joy to the public this Christmas by sponsoring and decorating eight trees in the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Most noticeably, many of the ornaments used to dress up these trees were handcrafted by our employees from the trash they collected over the past few months.

Together with NParks, our management team of LHN Group and subsidiaries has committed to planting trees at Wilkinson Interim Park. This effort contributes to the nationwide OneMillionTrees movement and Singapore Green Plan 2030, which aim to bring nature and biodiversity back into our city.

While recycling is the process of breaking down waste materials into raw elements to create a new object, upcycling reuses waste materials' existing condition to create a new product of higher value and quality.
